Mission Statement

Our mission is to guide students to achieve their God-given potential by offering quality education while upholding and instilling conservative Christian biblical values in an environment where students can focus on their education and future preparedness without the distraction of peer pressure and worldly influence.

Meet our Founder

Mrs. Motes graduated from ASU Beebe with an Associate's of Arts in 2003. In 2006 she completed her Bachelor’s of Social Work. She worked as the Associate Director of the American Amputee Foundation until 2011, when she pursued her career as an educator; she taught in person and online for 12 years. In 2017, she earned her Master’s of Educational Leadership. In 2022, she graduated from Tulsa’s Lighthouse Apostolic College of Biblical Studies. 

Although Mrs. Motes was not raised in church, she has faithfully served the Lord for over twenty years. Her greatest desire is to glorify God and show others that there is a better life through Him. Since October 2022, she has been volunteering weekly at the local county jail doing Bible studies with the female inmates. 

Mrs. Motes is a loving wife and mother and she strives to provide a Christian example to her students. The relationships forged between our founder and her previous students are evident with every emotional encounter. 

Much of Mrs. Motes’ career has been in alternative school settings, where each student presents a unique opportunity and challenge. Adapting and overcoming have become the norm for our teachers in these environments. A common thread of Mrs. Motes’ career has been “Hope.” C.H.O.I.C.E.S. provides Mrs. Motes and our staff the opportunity to apply their skills and talents while spreading “Hope” in the hearts and minds of our young adults. 

The acronym C.H.O.I.C.E.S. “Conservative Hearts Online Instructional Christian Education Services” captures our desire to instill in the generations to come that our CHOICES determine our destinations in this life and the life to come.
